Traveling to Italy and Greece.

Eating in Greece.
Wow the Baclava

Just a bobby in
Florence, Italy.
What a gorgeous day.
This will be short.
I'm just practicing.
Here we are at the Isle of
Capri in anacapri.
The water was a gorgeous
turquoise.

This is actually a beautiful

look at the past fall we had.

And today I am on my own and

practicing.

So I shall see if this does work.

The colors of our fall were brilliant;

the most beautiful I have ever

seen in my whole life and it was

lasting forever. As a matter of fact

we had orange and yellow leaves clear up til the first of December.

I was taking pictures like mad. My new hobby: Watercoloring

New Years 2009

We are in DEL RIO TEXAS.
YES it's winter but its a warm one. We arrived two days after
Christmas. It was late about ll p.m. when we arrived;
but guess who was in the airport.
Of course, Shane and Leslie,
but also Sierra and baby Matthew. We were mesmerized
by Matthew's blue eyes. Where did he get those in the
genetic make up. Certainly not from the Rogers side.
Hope he keeps them.
Sierra started drawing pictures for us as we were settling into our Air Force Inn.
Can you believe all the amenities ?? Can't go wrong at $27.00 a night.

After eating, grilling and eating again we began some great rounds of Settlers of Catan. Its hard the older you get when you realize how competitive the family clan are?
Shane and I are about the most competitive. Leslie's changing over the
span of time. She use to be less caring about winning. All that has changed..
We have spent much time catching up on ole memories and watching good flicks. One night Sierra, papa and I were working in the kitchen and
playing new puzzles while Shane and Leslie had a long great date.

At the stroke of midnight we stopped all sane activities and started
to party with drinking (apple cider)  and  polkas galore. Even Sierra was
awake and partying. Her ability to stay awake would amaze any grandma or grandpa.
She had tons of balloons, bazookas, harmonicas, and clicker toys.
We even got to shop at Walmart. Oh my I felt like I was the minority among
beautiful Hispanic folks.
